Life can be uncertain. At times you may feel that you’re in the best part of your life, while at other times you may have difficulty coping with the pressures and responsibilities that life brings. Sometimes stress can seem overwhelming.

We can help.

Southeastern Counseling centers has two convenient locations: Duncan, SC and Hendersonville, NC. We provide Christian counseling for families, married couples, or individuals. Our affordable session fees allow all families and individuals the opportunity to seek help.

    • Adolescent boys and girls
    • Couples with marital challenges
    • Individual adults with issues other than addiction or severe depression

  • Robert C. Kimberly, MA, LPC, NBCC (rkimberly@sech.org)
    Robert serves as Executive Director of Southeastern Children’s Home and Director of Southeastern Counseling Center. Robert has a BS in Social Work from Lipscomb University and an MA in Human Services from Nova University. He is a South Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a National Board Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Adoption Investigator.

    Vicki Stidham, MA (vstidham@sech.org)
    Vicki serves as a staff therapist at the Southeastern Counseling Center office in Duncan. She holds an MA in Counseling from Webster University and specializes in working with children and adolescents.

    Karen Fitzpatrick, MA, LMFT (kfitzpatrick@sech.org)
    Karen is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in North Carolina. She has a BS in Elementary Education and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amridge University. Karen supervises the Hendersonville, NC branch of the Southeastern Counseling Center.

    Confidentiality

    Simpy stated, what you talk about in counseling sessions remains known only to you and your counselor. This creates a climate of trust necessary for a successful working relationship.

    Competence

    All of our counselors have Masters degrees from accredited universities and are experienced. They have the education and experience that qualifies them to provide individual, marriage, and family counseling. They provide consultation and supervision services when needed.

    Compassion

    The overall goal of the counseling center is to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, and the community. The compassion of Christ is the motivation for this ministry.
